What same-device play means
All players share one device and take turns using the same board. This differs from local-network multiplayer, where each player has a separate connected device.
The planned cast gives each player a distinct character, colour and elemental expression. The group can identify a player by name and silhouette as well as colour.
Make room for the whole group
The target is two to eight players, so the experience should support both a quiet rivalry and a larger gathering. The final board sizes and pacing for bigger groups still need testing.
A larger screen may make a shared board easier to read. Final supported devices, orientation and accessibility options will be documented with the release.
Follow the turn, then the reaction
In turn-based play, one person commits a move before the next player acts. A chain should resolve visibly so the whole group can understand what changed.
The homepage has a short classic-rule illustration you can replay together. It teaches charge and capture; it is not a complete pass-and-play match.
Details to expect at launch
The finished setup guide will cover player selection, handoff, elimination, leaving a match and whether an internet connection is required. Those details are not yet being presented as finished features.
